What we discuss on the first call
On the first call, tell us what happened and which rooms or devices are affected. Together, we gather the key details about the location and conditions on site. We then establish how and when we can assist and set out the next steps for assessment, protective measures and cleaning.
After fire, smoke or soot damage
Beyond visible fire damage, smoke, soot and firefighting residues may affect racks, equipment, trays and support rooms. Our assessment identifies affected installations and the types of residues present. We then plan cleaning and decontamination using methods suited to the surfaces and components involved.
After water or moisture damage
Leaks and firefighting water may affect equipment and service areas. The responsible specialists assess condition and access before cleaning. We coordinate our work with required drying, technical checks and further restoration.
Dust and construction-dust ingress
Dust from construction does not stay on visible surfaces. We also review accessible air paths, rack areas, trays and raised floors. Together, we establish where protection, fine cleaning and any commissioned measurements are needed.
Set the order of work
Priority depends on the damage and your operational needs. With IT, facility management and equipment owners, we identify affected zones, important systems and possible alternative areas. We then plan cleaning, protection and other specialist work.
Bring the parties together
Where needed, we coordinate with experts and insurers. We record the agreed initial conditions, tasks and results. Photos and measurements supplement the records.
What follows the first response
The initial assessment provides a plan for cleaning and decontamination, including specialist checks and handover. We then discuss any ongoing care or protection measures.
Additional air cleaning
Where particles are a concern, mobile HEPA H14 units can be added. We plan their position, airflow and run time alongside cleaning and dust protection. See air cleaning and climate monitoring for details.
