Limit dust ingress before construction starts
Drilling, refurbishment and ceiling works may affect nearby IT areas. COM.SAR IT Cleaning plans protective boundaries, access and filtered air supply with the teams involved. The focus is on establishing and supervising the protected area. Between construction projects, agreed checks help identify recurring cleaning needs.
Positive-pressure zones during construction
A temporary positive-pressure zone can help keep construction dust away from sensitive equipment. The area is enclosed and supplied with filtered air. A controlled pressure difference supports outward airflow and reduces entry of contaminated surrounding air. A transparent acrylic enclosure keeps the protected equipment visible. Construction and materials are selected for the installation and building work.
Prepare protection before work starts
Together with IT, facility management, the operator and contractors, we establish the protected area, access, sealing and airflow. Enclosures, dust barriers and airlocks may be suitable. The plan must account for cooling, escape routes and fire protection systems.
Monitor temperature and the protected area
During use, we check and record temperature, pressure, filter condition, air supply and sealing within the agreed scope. Cooling must continue to meet equipment requirements inside an enclosure. We discuss opened access points or changes to construction with the responsible team.
Routine checks between construction projects
We inspect agreed areas for visible deposits and review accessible air paths. The findings help adjust cleaning dates and scope. The care plan follows what we find at the site.
After construction
Before removing protective measures, we review conditions and cleaning needs with you. Fine cleaning, measurements and sign-off follow where commissioned. We also remove the protective measures and support the return to normal operation. Deposits inside devices may also require device interior cleaning.
Who is responsible for each task?
Technical maintenance, electrical testing and fire-system checks belong with qualified specialists. We coordinate cleaning and protection with their work. Protective areas and checks are tailored to the work.
Additional air cleaning
Where particles are a concern, mobile HEPA H14 units can be added. We plan their position, airflow and run time alongside cleaning and dust protection. See air cleaning and climate monitoring for details.
