Treat the device interior as a separate cleaning task
Cleaning the room or cabinet does not automatically remove dust from circuit boards, heat sinks or fan areas. COM.SAR IT Cleaning assesses individual devices or equipment inventories. Before dismantling, we document cabling, connection positions and the equipment layout. We label cables and assemblies, clean components using suitable methods and reassemble the device using these records.
Remove dust from inside the device
Construction dust can settle on circuit boards, inside power supplies, in heat sinks and around fans. We identify affected parts and select methods to suit the device and materials. Cleaning the room or rack alone does not reach these deposits.
Work at an ESD workstation
We prepare a mobile ESD workstation with a suitable surface and equipment for sensitive electronics. Preparation, storage and handling of assemblies are part of the process too. ESD precautions apply throughout the work. For precision cleaning inside equipment, we use high-performance compressed-air equipment. The air used is purified, oil-free and dehumidified.
Boards, heat sinks and enclosures
We clean accessible, approved boards, heat sinks, air channels, fan areas and enclosure interiors. Required opening, dismantling and reassembly are planned for each device. Manufacturer instructions and component requirements set the limits.
After smoke, soot or moisture exposure
The first step is to assess whether and how the device can be restored. Residues, materials and visible damage inform that decision. We carry out the cleaning and decontamination ourselves. Depending on the residues and materials, we also use suitable wet-cleaning methods. Cleaned components are then properly dried.
One device or a larger fleet
We record and label the devices and discuss the order of work with you. Operational priorities, spare equipment and available time windows can be taken into account.
Record what was done
We document the initial condition, cleaning and observations. Before-and-after photos show visible changes. Functional testing and restart are discussed with the responsible team. Our cleaning records bring photographs, completed work and results together in a clear report.
Additional air cleaning
Where particles are a concern, mobile HEPA H14 units can be added. We plan their position, airflow and run time alongside cleaning and dust protection. See air cleaning and climate monitoring for details.
